Kent earns the final NJAC Rookie of the Week selection after hitting .429 (6-for-14) with a triple, two home runs, four RBI, and a run scored during four games played in the ECAC Metro Tournament. She hit safely in all four games and produced two multiple-hit contests including a 2-for-3 performance with a RBI in 3-0 opening round road win at Old Westbury. Two days later, she went 2-for-3 with a triple in the Roadrunners’ 5-1 win over NJAC rival Rutgers-Camden. She wrapped up her freshman season by homering against Richard Stockton. Kent finished the season ranked tied for fifth in the NJAC in home runs (4).
