Coach Nick Camilleri joins the Ramapo coaching staff for the 2020 season after wrapping up his playing career as a Roadrunner.
Camilleri played with the Roadrunners during the 2018 and 2019 seasons and was a captain on the team during his senior year. He collected 42 career hits including ten doubles while he scored 15 runs and drove home 31 RBI. He collected 11 walks, 10 hit-by-pitches for an on base % of .344. Behind the plate he recorded 134 putouts and 12 assists while throwing out six runners.
He played in the New England Collegiate Baseball League with the Danbury Westeners, the Hamptons Collegiate League with the Montauk Mustangs, the South Florida Collegiate League with the Boca Raton Blazers, and the Perfect Game Collegiate League with the Oneonta Outlaws. He also coached with the Wladyka Baseball Organization, and Power 5 Baseball Organization.
A product of Saint Peter’s Preparatory High School, he earned First Team All-Hudson Count and First Team All-League while they won the 2015 Hudson County Tournament. He was also named to the 2015 Perfect Game Northeast Region Honorable Mention.
