Kim Butrico

Kim Butrico enters her second season as Assistant Coach with the Ramapo Roadrunners. Butrico brings a great deal of coaching experience in joining the Ramapo team.

In 2014, Butrico served as an Assistant Coach at her alma mater, Montclair State University. There she was responsible for assisting with the defensive team, as well as managing overall team strategies and player development.
 
She has served as a coach for DIGS Volleyball Club since 2011. Starting as an Assistant Coach, she was quickly promoted to Head Coach in 2014. Since then, she has served as great motivator and leader, educating and training high school athletes in the sport of volleyball.
 
Butrico was a three-year athlete with Montclair State University’s volleyball team. As a Red Hawk, she appeared in 86 matches, totaled 94 services aces, and reached 488 digs as a Defensive Specialist/Libero. In 2012, Butrico had 51 service aces, ranking in the Top 15 of the NJAC, as she helped the Red Hawks to a school-record of 22 victories. In 2013, she helped in advancing Montclair State to the semifinals of the NJAC Tournament for the first time since 2009. As a two-time member of the NJAC All-Academic Team, Butrico graduated from Montclair State in December 2013, with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology.
 
Prior to Montclair State, Butrico attended Salve Regina University in Rhode Island, where she was athlete for the Seahawks’ volleyball team.
 
Butrico is a native to Cresskill, New Jersey, and currently resides in Lodi.
