Coach David Lado enters his third season with the Roadrunner Track & Field program under head coach Justina Cassavell.
During his time at Ramapo, Lado has led many student-athletes to the NCAA Championships while the team has broken multiple jump records the last three seasons. Amber Edwards became a three-time NCAA All-American in the triple jump during her career at Ramapo College. She also broke multiple College and New Jersey Athletic Conference triple jump records.
He has also been the head track and field coach at Don Bosco Prep since 2013. He has had 50 Bergen County Champions, 25 State Medalists while having numerous State Sectional and State Group Champions while also seeing his student-athletes qualify for High School National Championships.
Prior to his time at Ramapo he was the assistant coach at New York University during the 2012-2013 season. He coached ECAC Division III Indoor Champion in the 200-meters. He was also the assistant coach at the Academy of Holy Angels (2008-2011) and Indian Hills (2011-2012).
Coach Lado is a graduate of Rider University where he competed on the track and field team. He was a three-time MAAC Conference Champion in the 400-meter hurdles and an IC4A Qualifier in the 400-meter hurdles, 800-meter dash and the 4x400 & 4x800 relay teams.
Coach Lado is the Director and Coach of High Intensity Track and Field where he trains youth to college aged student-athletes.
