Coach Lauren English joins Coach Orr's staff as a volunteer assistant coach for the 2012-2013 season. A recent (2012) graduate of the University of Georgia, Coach English earned a degree in Communications Sciences and Disorders.
As a collegiate swimmer, English helped lead the UGA Swim Team to the NCAA Division I championships, earning 2nd place overall. Her team earned an automatic bid to the championships after securing the SEC title with 781 points. English was named captain her senior year as well as Academic All-American for his efforts in the classroom.
English is the New Jersey State record holder in the 100-yard back and 50-freestyle. She was a part of the 2006 Swimming National Team and currently works as a swim Instructor at Spa 23. She has five years experience coaching the Athens Bulldog Swim Club and is excited to be joining the Ramapo program for the first time this year.
