Glenn Walton enters his first season as goalkeeping coach on the Ramapo College women’s soccer coaching staff in 2018.
Coach Walton brings his vast knowledge and expertise in goalie training to Ramapo College. Prior to joining the Roadrunner staff, he was a member of the youth staff at Manchester United; he worked from the Cliff Training Ground on youth programs and camps. Combining passion, energy, patience and an attractive style of soccer,
Coach Walton is also the full time goalkeeper director at NJ Crush FC overseeing 30 goalies' development with field and classroom sessions. Coach Walton is also the owner and CEO of United Keeper Academy in Northern, NJ where he trains over 100 keepers year round.
Born in Salford, Manchester, England, Coach Walton was a centre of excellence and academy Goalkeeper at Wrexham, Chester City, Nottingham Forest and Crewe Alexandra.
At Crewe Alexandra FC, Coach Walton had a 3-year YTS where he grew as both a player and coach under the watchful eye of Dario Gradi M.B.E, also current England National Men’s team assistant manager Steve Holland and Goalkeeper trainer Dean Greygoose.
