Assistant Coach Lindsey Jachens returns to coach the Lady Roadrunners after a successful two-sport athletic career at Ramapo. She enters her third season with the program.
Coach Jachens played four-years on the both Lady Roadrunner basketball and lacrosse teams. She was also heavily involved in the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) while being named co-president during the 2010-2011 adn 2011-2012 school years.
During her basketball career she helped lead the Lady Roadrunners to one NJAC Tournament appearance and two ECAC Tournament appearances. During her lacrosse career she started in all 58 games during her career as a key member of the defense.
She was also a member of the dean’s list and a photographer for the Ramapo News. For her efforts away from athletics, Coach Jachens was awarded with the Jerome Lee Memorial Award for outstanding leadership during the 2011-2012 academic year. She graduated this past May with a degree in degree in Psychology, a minor in Spanish and a certification in Education. Coach Jachens is currently student teaching a kindergarten class in Montvale.
Coach Jachens currently resides in Montvale, NJ.
