First year coach Ashley Rossi joins the Roadrunner coaching staff after a stellar basketball career at Dominican College. Rossi was selected to the All-CACC Pre-Season Team her senior season. On February 16, 2006 she scored her 1,000th career point. She is in the Lady Charger record books as the number one all-time shot blocker, 12th all-time in rebounding and 14th all-time leading scorer. She is ranked 15th in the NCAA Division II for blocked shots. With the leadership of Rossi the Lady Chargers made it to the Semi-Finals of the CACC league Championships and qualified for the ECAC Tournament. For her efforts she was named to the CACC All-Tournament Team and was selected two years in a row to the All-Met Writers Second Team.
After graduation Coach Rossi was picked up to play in Serie A in Italy for team, Acer Priolo, for Coach Santino Coppa. While overseas playing, Rossi was interviewed for national TV in Italy for Acer Priolo. She also played under Tari Phillips, a former member of the New York Liberty of the WNBA.
Rossi currently resides in Greenwood Lake, NY and is employed by AXA Equitable.
