Coach Ashley O’Beirne-Stever enters her third season on Coach Bridgette Quimpo’s staff as the team’s pitching coach.
O’Beirne played for Quimpo at New Jersey City University from 2010-2013 as she posted 36 wins on the mound. She made 111 appearances including 98 starts in the circle with 94 complete games. She recorded eight shutouts and struck out 271 in her career. She was named a National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Scholar-Athlete during the 2012 season. During the 2010 season she was named NJAC & ECAC Pitcher of the week for earning a 5-0 win/loss record in the circle for the week of 3/16/10.
Coach O’Beirne graduated with her Masters of Education in Athletic Counseling from Springfield College in 2016 while she earned her certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Springfield in 2017. She is also a licensed Associate Counselor in the state of NJ.
Coach O’Beirne is a Tincher Certified Pitching Instructor.
