Coach Ashley O’Beirne enters her first season on Coach Bridgette Quimpo’s staff as the team’s pitching coach.
O’Beirne played for Quimpo at New Jersey City University from 2010-2013 as she posted 36 wins on the mound. She made 111 appearances including 98 starts in the circle with 94 complete games. She recorded eight shutouts and struck out 271 in her career.
She was named a National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Scholar-Athlete during the 2012 season. During the 2010 season she was named NJAC & ECAC Pitcher of the week for earning a 5-0 win/loss record in the circle for the week of 3/16/10.
