Chris Sidnam enters his second season on the Ramapo men’s volleyball coaching staff beginning in 2018.
The Roadrunners wrapped up the 2017 season with an 18-12 overall record including a 7-2 record in the Skyline Conference. Ramapo earned the #2 seed in the Skyline Men’s Volleyball Tournament before falling in the opening round to #3 Mount Saint Vincent in four sets. This was the Roadrunner’s fourth straight Tournament appearance. Justin Feigeles earned All-ECAC Division III South Region Honorable Mention while he and Nick Amos earned Skyline All-Conference honors. Fiegeles earned First Team while Amos earned Second Team. Terrance Cando, Mack Brower and Amos all earned Skyline Honor Roll for their efforts in the classroom.
Sidnam was a four-year member and captain of the team from 2011-2014. His stint with the program brought 84 wins, an ECAC Championship Title (2012), four straight NECVA/Skyline Championship Tournament appearances, and a 45-9 conference record. Sidnam was a middle blocker where he collected more than 180 total blocks and 430 kills. He earned Skyline 1st Team All-Conference in 2013 and was a recipient of the Ramapo College Career Award in 2014 for his balanced career both on the court and in the classroom. Sidnam was invited to play with the USA DIII Select team in Brazil in 2014 and served as a member of SAAC throughout his collegiate career.
A resident of Smithtown, NY, Sidnam graduated from Ramapo in 2014 with a degree in business administration with a concentration in marketing and a minor in economics. He currently serves as a marketing coordinator for ESPN after spending time working in marketing for the USTA at the 2014 US Open and for the New York Mets throughout 2015.
