Coach Nehls enters his fifth year as an assistant coach for the Ramapo College swim teams.
Nehls was a member of the Roadrunner swim team from 2007-2011. The 2007 squad was the inaugural class in Ramapo's return to Division III swimming.
He served as the team captain from 2009-2011 where he was an integral component in the team's rapid improvement. Nehls has held team records in the 200-yard breast stroke as well as the 200 and 400-yard medley relays.
Upon graduating from Ramapo College, Coach Nehls obtained a Certified Personal Trainer certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). He has used his enthusiasm for fitness as well as his knowledge of the sport as the Strength & Conditioning Coach for the last 4 years.
Nehls graduated Ramapo College in 2011 with a degree in Environmental Studies.
