Former Ramapo men's soccer standout, Rob Santaniello, joins the Roadrunner coaching staff for the third season in 2017.

Coach Santaniello earned his degree from the College in 2013 following a four-year soccer career. On the field, Santaniello led the Roadrunners throughout his collegiate career.  In his senior season, he broke the record for all-time career goals, finishing his career with 64. Santaniello was named NJAC All-Conference 1st Team four times during his career, while also being named the NJAC Offensive Player of the Year on two occasions.  Santaniello earned NJAC Rookie of the Year honors in 2009, Robert Hartman Male Athlete of the Year honors in 2010.  That year he led the NCAA in goals per game, 1.17, points per game, 2.56, and set the school record for goals in a season with 21.  He wrapped up his career by being named to the NSCAA/NCAA Division III Men's All-Region Team for the fourth time in his career, while being named a two-time ECAC All-Star.

Academically, Santaniello was named to the Capital One Academic All-America® All-District First Team as selected by CoSIDA, the College Sports Information Directors of America, as well as earning NSCAA Men's College Division Scholar All-American.  He was honored by the Alpha Lambda Delta Honors Society, Golden Key International Honors Society, National Society of Collegaite Scholars, and the Omicron Delta Kappa National Leadership Honors Society.

Coach Santaniello is the Assistant Vice President in Commercial Lending at Valley National Bank in Paramus, NJ.

Coach Santaniello resides in Oakland, NJ.
