Coach Jim Clementi returns to his alma mater in 2014 as an assistant coach to the men’s soccer program. A stellar student-athlete while attending Ramapo, he graduated in 2010 with a mathematics degree.
A four-year starter for the Roadrunners, Coach Clementi served as team captain for three seasons. He was a NJAC All-Conference selection in 2009 and 2010, and was named to the NJAC All-Academic team in 2008. The Roadrunners collected 40 wins and made three post-season appearances in his four-year stint with the program.
Prior to joining Coach Pinton this Fall, Coach Clementi served as the head boy’s varsity soccer coach at Hawthorne High School for two seasons (2012 and 2013). In 2013, he led the team to an overall 16-3-1 record, posting the most wins in the program’s history in a single season. The team was crowned NJIC Colonial League Champions, while Coach Clementi was recognized as the 2013 NJIC Colonial Coach of the Year.
Coach Clementi was a standout player at Shawnee High School before pursuing his collegiate career at Ramapo. He helped lead the team to 27 wins, going undefeated in route to a Group 3 State Championship and SJ Coaches Tournament Championship in 2006.
He currently serves as a mathematics teacher at Fair Lawn High School and resides in Clifton, NJ.
2014 Season
