Guido Alberti

Coach Guido Alberti returns to his alma mater after graduating in 2003, Summa Cum Laude, with a bachelor of arts degree in political science and a minor in international business. Coach Alberti played at Ramapo during the Fall of 2000 and 2001 under the direction of then Head Coach Peppe Pinton. He helped lead his team to 21 wins and two ECAC post-season appearances.

A native of Sansepolcro, Italy, Coach Alberti began his playing career in 1983 for the Sansepolcro Calcio Youth Team before moving on to play nine years for Pol. Sulpizia in Pieve Santo Stefano, Italy. During his last two seasons with the team he was a full time starter while also being named captain.

He moved into the coaching ranks in 1994 when he spent time in Italy with the Pol. Sulpizia U-12 Boys Team. He moved on to coach U-10 Sansepolcro Calcio from 1996-1999 before heading to the states to continue coaching and training youth teams in the sport of soccer. Coach Alberti has coached many teams in the area ranging from U-9 Girls to U-18 Boys. He continues to coach and train the U-15 Girls of the American Soccer Club out of Allendale, NJ who he began training in August of 2002. Alberti has also spent some time as an assistant to the Ramapo College women’s team in 1998, the men’s team in 1999, and St. Joesph’s Regional High School in 2002 before enrolling in Ramapo College full time.

Coach Alberti is a member of the Italian Association of Volunteer Blood Donors as well as the Italian (Arezzo) Red Cross Squad. He currently works as the Manager of Stock and Order Management for Salvatore Ferragamo USA in New York City.
