Eamon O'Brien

Coach Eamon O'Brien has joined the Roadrunners for his first year, but is no stranger to the NJAC conference. He will be focusing on the men and women's distance programs.

Coach O'Brien attended The College of New Jersey where he led the Lions to several conference, regional, and National competitions. In his four-year career he was the New Jersey Athletic Conference cross country champion in 2000 and 2001, and the Atlantic Regional cross country champion in 2000, posting a new course record of 25:19. O'Brien also claimed NCAA Division III All-American honors in 2000 by placing 29th at the National Championships. In addition, he was a four-time NJAC Cross Country All-Conference team member, while also being named to the cross country All-Region team four straight years. He qualified for the NCAA Division III cross country championships all four years of his collegiate career.

His success continued in track winning the 5k at the 2001 NJAC Championships, and a 10k NCAA qualifying time of 30:52.93, run at the Penn Relays. Coach O'Brien took 14th place in the 10k at the NCAA Division III National Track and Field Championships to complete his running career.

Coach O'Brien, who grew up in Paramus, currently resides in Westwood, NJ.
