John Wojcik

Coach John Wojcik returns to his alma mater to join the Ramapo College men’s basketball coaching staff for the 2019-2020 season.
 
Wojcik, a 2007 graduate of Ramapo College and four-year standout on the men’s basketball team, returns after a successful coaching career at the high school level. Wojcik helped lead the Roadrunners to the 2005 and 2007 NJAC Championship while also being a part of the 2005 NCAA Sweet 16 team. They also made an appearance in the 2007 NCAA Tournament. He was a captain and member of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee while he graduated with a degree in Sociology and certification in Education K-12.
 
Wojcik started as a Volunteer at the boys’ basketball varsity level at Sayreville High School for the 2008-2009 season before being named the head varsity coach from 2010 through 2019. His team won the Greater Middlesex County White Division Championship for the first time in school history during the 2013-2014 season, tying the school record for most wins (24-4). He won County and Division Coach of the Year that season before leading the team to three more County Championships (15-16, 16-17, 17-18) and was named Division Coach of the Year for the second time following the 2016-2017 season.
 
 He also coached the NY Jayhawks 17u boys’ team for the 2017-2018 season, an Adidas Sponsored AAU team.
 
Coach Wojcik resides in Sayreville, NJ with his wife Jamie and daughter Zoe.
