Katie More, formerly Kraft, enters her second season as assistant field hockey coach.
Prior to working at Ramapo, Coach More was the head field hockey coach at Wayne Valley High School, in Wayne, NJ for eight years, after serving as an assistant coach for three years. More led the team to their first ever divisional title, as well as multiple state playoff appearances. At Wayne Valley, she was also the varsity girls lacrosse coach for eight years and led her team to the school's first ever county championship. She was named Passaic County Coach of the year in 2012 and 2016. Coach More was also named Coach of the Year by the North Jersey media group in 2012.
During her time as a high school coach, More served as a coach for the North Jersey Field Hockey Coaches Association all star games. She was her county's representative coach and served on the board for the NJFHCA, which honored high school players through accolades and scholarships.
For eight years, Coach More ran her own Field Hockey Club, Quiet Storm Field Hockey, which conducted camps for the youth players of the North Jersey area.
An alumna of William Paterson University, More earned her Bachelor's degree in Education and completed her Master's degree in the Art of Teaching. She competed in the NJAC as a Pioneer on the William Paterson University field hockey team.
Coach Katie More is entering her 9th year teaching Middle School Language Arts in the Wayne School District.
