After helping to build the Ramapo College Dance Program from the ground, Coach Michelle Jaworski will serve as the head coach for its fourth year as a varsity sport. Coach Jaworski is a 2004 graduate of Ramapo College where she earned a bachelors degree in communications with a concentration in TV and video production. Coach Jaworski had been dancing for twenty years and has taken classes in ballet, lyrical, theatre dance, jazz, hip-hop and tap. She has competed in many competitions in the soloists, duet, trio, and group categories.
Priot to coming to Ramapo, Coach Jaworski served as the head coach at Paramus Catholic High School from 1999-2007. There, she helped lead the team to local and national competitions. Last season the varsity dance team was ranked 5th in the nation in the Team Performance Category while the junior varsity dance team held the JV Pom Division National Title at the NDA Nationals. While attending Paramus Catholic, Coach Fernandez served as captain of the dance team.
Coach Jaworski currently works for NBC Universal in Englewood Cliffs where she holds a position in the Post Production department for NBC's newly owned cable networks - Bravo, Sci Fi & USA. She coordinates with each network as to what shows and movies need to be edited for air on a daily basis.
In her spare time she continues to take jazz and hip hop classes at the Broadway Dance Center in New York City.
