Travis Zilg enters his first season on Head Coach Rich Martin's coaching staff as a pitching coach for the Roadrunners.
Zilg returns after a stellar four-year career for the Roadrunners from 2010-2013. He led Ramapo on the mound during his career with a 2.97 ERA. He recorded 21 career wins in 57 appearances and 11 complete games. He struck out 192 in 275.2 innings pitched while opponents recorded a .235 batting average against him. Zilg stands as #3 on the All-Time Ramapo career list for strikeouts in a career, #2 for career wins and complete games and tied for #6 in career saves.
A two-year captain, he was named to the NJCBA All-State First, Second and Third Teams during his career. He also earned NJAC Second Team All-Conference and NJAC Honorable Mention All-Conference.
Coach Zilg earned his Law & Society degree in 2013 and currently resides in Green Brook, NJ.
