Relay for Life - Many teams helped be a part of Relay for Life held at the Bradley Center to raise money for cancer research.
SAAC Presidents Tom Bonacum & Bridgette Buckalew - Joined forces with the other NJAC Conference SAAC members at the Special Olympics held at Princeton University.
Men's & Women's Basketball - Held a toy drive in December allowing free admission to the games when people donated an unwrapped toy.
Women's Basketball - JDRF Diabetes Walk to "Make Tyle 1 Type none" and raised about $3,000. Donated $800 for the Children's Miracle Network Hospital during the Ramathon. Donated food for the Thanksgiving Basket Drive. Participated in breast cancer awareness events during the month of October including the WBCA "Pink Day" during a home basketball game.
Softball Team - Held a softball clinic in honor of the Susan G. Komen Foundation for breast cancer awareness. Joined forces with a local Wyckoff family for the second time on Saturday, April 15th, to spread awareness of Eosinophilia Esophagitis (EE), alum Kim LaPenta returned to be a part of the day as she battles some of the same issues. Susan G. Komen for the Cure (Free Softball Clinic). Anthony LaRezza Strikeout Cancer Awareness for Pediatric Cancer Patients, Pink Tie Formal Making Strides for Cancer, Dodge Ball Competition in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness sponsored by ZBT Fraternity. The team also attended Suicide Prevention and Hazing Week activities along with After Dark events in the Bradley Center.
PJ Bartolotto and the Bass Fishing Club participated in a recycle day during the men's soccer game. Members of the club made fans aware to recycle their cans and bottles during the game and handed out reusable water bottles prior to the game.
Women's Soccer - Worked with Peace passers- a organization that takes donated soccer gear and give it to a team in need. This year our old jerseys went to Roatan, Honduras. Teamed up with Go 4 The Goal, a campaign which raises funds and awareness for kids with cancer in our community. The team wore yellow shoe laces in support/awareness during a home game. Participated in Breast Cancer awareness activities during the month of October. The girls wear pink warm up shirts and pink laces for the month of October. Participated in Dash for Diabetes and teamed up with the Biology Club and Pre-Med/Pre-Health Club. The Dash for Diabetes is a 5K fundraiser run to raise money for diabetes research.
Swim Team - Participated in an annual event "Meters for Mike" where money is raised for major brain injuries in honor of a former TCNJ swimmer. Donated food for the Thanksgiving Basket Drive, also participated in the Ramathon, Relay for Life events.
Baseball - Home Run Derby for Breast Cancer Awareness in association with Theta Phi Alpha Sorority, Distributed Thanksgiving food baskets in association with the Center Dor Food Action, Collect Christmas Toys for Tots in association with the Mahwah Police Department, Walk in their shoes in association with the Women's Center, No Shave November in association with the American Cancer Society.
Men's Soccer - Helped incoming freshmen during move-in day. Also participated in multiple After Dark Programs. Attended the Herron Project and Sexual Assault Information Sessions while they also participated in the “It’s On Us” campaign and Mahwah All Stars (march out on game day).
