Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College baseball team recorded their ninth win in a row with a 13-0 shutout over visiting Mount Saint Mary College (NY). The Roadrunners move to 21-8 overall while the Knights drop to 7-21 on the year.
Ramapo scored four runs in the bottom of the first inning and added three in the second to take a 7-0 lead.

Nick Pellegrino laced a double to left-center field to allow
Jack Tallent to score, 2-0. Later in the first, Pellegrino stole third and scored on a throwing error from the Knights catcher before
Casey Chiola belted a double of his own to plate
Zach Barbash, 4-0. In the second, Barbash drove in two RBI as
Eric Knapp and Caruso each scored while
Brandon Tauber drove in Pellegrino with a single to center field, 7-0. In the fifth, Novakowski was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded to force home
Derek Brand before Pellegrino drove in three RBI with a double down the left field line, 11-0.
Dan Maglio then laced a double to center field which plated Pellegrino before
Colin Kassai poked a single down the right field line in the sixth to score
Nick Cavagnaro, 13-0.
Joe Micchio (2-0) earned the win on the mound for the Roadrunners as he spun a one-hitter over four innings of work. He struck out five and walked two.
Will Kennedy worked two innings with four strikeouts and two walks while letting up no hits.
Eldon Lempa worked a scoreless frame while only surrendering one hit. Pellegrino led the team with a 2-3 day at the plate with four RBI and three runs scored.
Ramapo returns to action on Thursday, April 16th when they take on William Paterson University on the road at 3:30 PM.
