Philadelphia, PA: The Ramapo College men's indoor track and field team finished in 4th place at the 2025-2026 NJAC Indoor Track & Field Championships with 54 points. The two-day meet was held on Feb. 21st and Feb. 27th, 2026 at the Ott Center.
The 4x400m relay team posted a new school record and NJAC Runner-Up time of 3:18.38.
Logan Natale,
Jordan Hart,
Matt Suero and
Jaycen Peterson. In the heptathlon,
Anthony Sileo captured a school record of 3,972 points as he finished in second place overall. Sileo finished first in the 1,000m run in 2:55.30, third in the 60m dash (7.30 seconds) and the 60m hurdles (9.21 seconds), fifth in both the high jump (1.68m) and long jump (6.00m), sixth in the pole vault when he cleared 2.51m and seventh in the shot put with a mark of 8.96m.
Individually, Hart grabbed a 5th place finish in the 400m dash when he clocked in with a new personal best time of 48.99 seconds while Natale also grabbed a season best time of 50.05 seconds to place 9th overall.
Mark Shinkorenko was the third Roadrunner to compete in the 400m dash when he posted a season best time of 51.14 seconds.
John Swaney grabbed 5th place with a personal best time of 1:57.08 in the 800m race while
Jorge Gomez Garza placed 10th in 2:00.06, also a new personal best. In the 3k,
Brian Metz clocked in at 9:10.46 to finish 5th overall while Matthew Reed recorded a personal best time of 9:15.87 to finish 7th. Natale also posted a personal best in the 200m dash in 22.09 seconds for a 7th place finish while
Wander Dilone and
Samuel Thomas finished back-to-back in 10th (22.18 seconds) and 11th place (22.21 seconds), both personal bests.
Ryan Pena recorded a season best time in the mile when he clocked in at 4:20.47 for a 6th place finish overall while
Julian Mignone placed 9th in 4:31.91 and
Sebastian Herrera finished 10th in 4:33.66. In the high jump,
Zal Charles cleared 1.87m and finished tied in 9th place. In the weight throw,
Braden Holm posted a season best mark of 14.10m to finish 7th overall.
Day One Recap
Two relay teams for the Roadrunners earned a podium finish. The Distance Medley Relay clocked in with a season best time of 10:26.27 for a third-place finish. Their time is also 26th in this season in all of NCAA DIII. The team was made up of
Sebastian Herrera,
Matt Suero,
Jorge Gomez Garza and
Ryan Pena. The 4x200-meter relay team also grabbed a third-place finish with a season best time of 1:27.64. The team was made up of
Logan Natale, Wonder Dilone,
Samuel Thomas and Pena.
In the 5k,
Jose Espinal and
Brandon Meneses finished back-to-back with an eight-place and a ninth-place finish respectively. Espinal posted a personal best time of 16:16.75 while Meneses posted a season best time of 16:17.00. In the prelims of the 60m dash,
Wander Dilone finished 10th in 7.01 seconds. In the field events,
Kevin Ortiz finished ninth overall in the long jump with a personal best mark of 6.62m while
Sebastiano Secades grabbed a season best mark of 6.11m (19th place).
Braden Holm posted a mark in the shot put of 13.58m to finish eighth overall. In the heptathlon,
Anthony Sileo finished third in the 60m dash (7.30 seconds), fifth in both the high jump (1.68m) and long jump (6.00m) and seventh in the shot put (8.96m). Zelasco finished first in the long jump (6.66m), fourth in the shot put (10.38m), sixth in the 60m dash (7.47 seconds) while he recorded a mark of no height in the high jump. Sileo and Zelasco are currently in sixth and eighth place respectively and will wrap up the heptathlon on day two of the meet.
Ramapo returns to action at the Ott Center on Sunday as they compete in the TCNJ Last Chance Meet at 1:00 PM.
