New York, NY: The Ramapo College men's indoor track and field team competed at the NYI DIII Invitational today at the Armory.
Nikolaos Kostopoulos grabbed a first-place finish in the 60m unseeded race when he posted a time of 7.36 seconds.
Wander Dilone competed in the 60 open race and finished fourth overall with a personal best time of 6.99 seconds. His time is also fifth all-time in program history.
Logan Natale and Dilone finished in 6th and 8th place respectively in the 200m open race as Natale clocked in at 22.51 seconds and Dilone set a new personal best in 22.55 seconds. In the 400m open race,
Jordan Hart placed third overall with a new personal best of 50.58 seconds while
Jaycen Peterson clocked in with a personal best time of 51.31 seconds. In the mile,
Sebastian Herrera placed third overall with a personal best in 4:23.72 while
Brian Metz posted a time of 4:34.06, ninth overall and a personal best.
Zal Charles set a new personal best in the high jump when he cleared 1.95m for a second-place finish and a personal best. In the long jump,
Kevin Ortiz (6.46m) and Dilone (6.29m) finished in sixth and eighth place respectively.
Braden Holm posted a season best mark in the shot put in 13.72m for a fifth-place finish. The 4x400m relay team clocked in with a season best time of 3:23.17 as they finished third overall. The team was made up of Natale, Hart, Jimenez and Peterson.
