Staten Island, NY:  The Ramapo College men's swim team opened the season at the Kick Off Invite hosted by the College of Staten Island. The Roadrunners finished in third place overall with 80 total points.

Results

Joe Swede won the 100 breaststroke in 1:01.94 while Adam Wright won the 500-yard freestyle in 4:49.35 and the 1,000-yard freestyle in 9:55.61. Wright also posted a second-place finish in the 200-yard butterfly in 2:01.85. Doruk Evcimen clocked in at 49.01 seconds in the 100-yard freestyle. The 400-yard freestyle relay team made up of Evcimen, Anthony Chiu, Swede and Wright placed second overall in 3:20.76.

The Roadrunners return to action on October 18th when they host Baruch College for a 2pm meet.
