Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo men's soccer team improved to 3-1-1 overall with a 2-0 blanking over St. Elizabeth University in non-conference action. The Eagles move to 1-4 overall.
Late in the first half Kyla Allen (40:49) took a long pass from
Elton Mani as Allen scored his 4th goal of the season to put the Roadrunners on the board, 1-0. In the second half,
Alim Lita scored his first goal of the season to give the Roadrunners an insurance goal, 2-0.
Jun Choi earned the assist. Ramapo posted seven shots on goal to the Eagles three while the Roadrunners held a 9-2 advantage in corner kicks.
For the Roadrunners,
Nikolai Matthews recorded one save in the first 80+ minutes of action while
Dilan Solorzano earned one save in the final 9:51 minutes of the game.
Ramapo returns to action on Wednesday, Sept. 18th when they travel to Skidmore College for a non-conference game at 6pm.
