Camden, NJ: The #3 Ramapo College baseball team advanced to the NJAC Tournament Championship Game with a 6-3 win over #6 TCNJ. The Roadrunners win their fourth straight game and improve to 27-12 overall. The Lions drop to 23-16 overall.
Ramapo will play tomorrow afternoon at noon in the Championship game against the winner of tonight's Rowan/TCNJ game. The winner of the NJAC Championship earns the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
Down one run heading into the top of the fourth, Ramapo put up three runs to take a 3-1 lead.
Matt Lalomia led off the inning with a solo homerun to tie the game, 1-1.
Zach Novakowski doubled and moved to third on an infield groundout before scoring on
Jesse Swartout's RBI groundout, 2-1.

Dominick Ciani loaded the bases with an infield single.
Zack Bailey collected the third RBI of the inning when he was hit by a pitch to force home Guadagno, 3-1. TCNJ added one run in the sixth on a Roadrunner error to come within one, before the Roadrunners turned a triple play to get out of the inning. Ramapo then put up three in the top of the ninth. Tallent led off with a double before moving to third on a ground out. Bailey was hit by a pitch and stole second before
John Higgins worked a four pitch walk to load the bases. Novakowski would clear the bases with a huge double to center field to plate all three runs, 6-2. The Lions added their final run with two outs in the bottom of the ninth before Ramapo relief pitcher
Dominick Ciani induced a ground out to end the game.
Nick Danbrowney (4-3) struck out nine, walked five and scattered five hits in 8.1 innings of work for Ramapo in the win. Novakowski finished 3-5 with three RBI and one run scored with two doubles while Tallent and Ciani each finished with two hits as the Roadrunners recorded ten hits total in the win.
