In the bottom of the first, Katie Rygiel led off with a single before Avery Kontura worked a walk. Mahogany Wheeler then put down a sac bunt to move the runners up one base before Avery Bartolomeo drilled an RBI single into right field to plate the tying run in Rygiel, 1-1. In the third, Alexis Corra reached on a fielder's choice and later scored on Yasabellah Otero's RBI single to left field, 2-1. Bartolomeo led off the fifth with a single and later scored on a wild pitch to extend the lead, 3-1. In the top of the seventh with two outs, Maggie Lenah plated the game-tying run with a two-RBI single, 3-3. In the top of the eighth a line drive sac fly to center field with a diving catch by Ramapo center fielder Lia Milsom would plate the go-ahead run for the Cyclones. Rhiannon Ginnetti drove in Carolyn Rose for the 4-3 lead. In the bottom half of the eighth, Ramapo used a sac bunt from Hannah Hensler to push Corra to third before the Cyclones induced an infield pop out and a lineout to right field to end the game.
