Brooklyn, NY: The Ramapo College women's tennis team earned a 7-2 non-conference win over Brooklyn College on the road. With the victory, the Roadrunners win their second straight match and move to 7-7 overall. The Bulldogs now stand at 4-11 overall.
Ramapo earned two points in doubles action as
Melanie Brentnall and
Mackenzie Dates won at first doubles, 8-4. At second doubles,
Kassie Britt and
Justine Gardella recorded an 8-0 shutout. Brentnall won at first singles, 6-3, 6-0 while Dates posted a shutout win at second singles, 6-0 and 6-0. Britt earned an 8-2 pro-set victory at third singles and Gardella won, 6-0, 6-4 at fourth singles.
Roshay Baez wrapped up the match at fifth singles with a, 6-2, 6-3 win.
The Roadrunners return to action on Tuesday, April 18th when they host the College of New Jersey at 4pm in NJAC action.
