Galloway, NJ: The Ramapo College women's outdoor track & field team competed at the Stockton Invitational today hosted by Stockton University.
Rebecca Kneppel won the 400m dash in 1:00.89 while
Barbara Exilus placed third in 1:02.90.
Kacy Ewing grabbed a top ten finish in the event as she placed sixth overall in 1:05.44. Kneppel also won the 200m dash in 26.62 seconds while
Melissa Adelung finished in 10th place in 29.17 seconds. Suzaanee Zaugg won the 3k race while
Zoey Cassavell was right behind her with a second place finish as they crossed the finish line in 10:49 and 10:57.94 respectively.
Brooke Savercool placed 16th overall in the 800m run in 2:57.31.
The 4x400-meter relay team, made up of
Gbarper Dwah,
Meredith Yaskovic, Exilus and Ewing, won the event with a time of 4:09.09. In the field events,
Mia Santana placed second overall in the javelin with a mark of 30.29meters while
Julia Macaluso finished in ninth place in 22.69m.
Jade Sampson grabbed a sixth place finish in the shot put with a mark of 9.65meters
The Roadrunners return to action next weekend at home when they host the Roadrunner Invitational at the Athletic Center on Friday, March 31st and Saturday, April 1st.
