BLADEN NETS GAME-WINNER IN 66-63 WIN OVER WPU

Mahwah, NJ:  The Ramapo College men's basketball team came back to defeat William Paterson University tonight at the Bradley Center with a game-winning three pointer from Justin Bladen, 66-63. The Roadrunners wrap up the season 10-15 overall and 6-12 in the NJAC while the Pioneers move to 10-15 overall and 4-14 in the conference.
 
The Roadrunners sank four three-pointers in the second half including Bladen's eventual game-winner. Ramapo saw themselves down twelve, 41-29, with just over 15 minutes remaining in the game. An and-one play from Anthony Corbo sparked a 12-5 run which lasted 3:16. The run was capped off with a three-pointer from Bladen as Ramapo cut the WPU lead to five, 46-41. A basket from WPU put them back up seven with just over ten minutes left to play before Ramapo went on another 11-3 run to take a one point lead, 52-51 with 7:24 on the clock. An and-one play for WPU gave them back a two point lead, 54-52, before Elijah Barlow sank a three-pointer for the Roadrunners for a 55-54 lead. The lead would change three more times before WPU led, 63-59, with just over three minutes on the clock. The Roadrunners would close out the game on a 7-0 run, started by Rooney with a jumper and capped off with the game-winning three-pointer from Bladen, 66-63.
 
Barlow led the Roadrunners with 17 points including three made three-pointers while he added four assists. Myers posted 15 points and eight rebounds while Rooney tacked on a team high 14 rebounds and ten points; his 5th double double of the season. Bladen posted eight points, two assists and two steals. The Roadrunners shot 39% (24-61) from the field, 35% (6-17) from the three-point line and 85% (12-14) from the free throw line.
 
Adryan Lopez led WPU with 19 points while Shawn Summers Jr., added 18 points and six rebounds. Caesar Silvestro posted 11 points while Cody Ripato recorded seven points for the Pioneers. WPU shot 40% (24-60) from the field, 31% (7-22) from the three-point line and 88% (8-9) from the free throw line.
