Montclair, NJ: The Ramapo College men's swim team competed in a tri-meet hosted by Montclair State University. The host Red Hawks and Roadrunners also went up against Rowan University. Ramapo fell to both teams, 189-70 against Montclair State and 192-67 against Rowan.
 
Jack Hill won three individual events and led the 200-yard medley relay team to a fifth place finish. The team, made up of Hill, 
Samuel De Leon, 
Giovanni Alvarez and 
Joe Swede, posted a combined time of 1:39.65. Individually, Hill won the 50-yard freestyle in 21.80 seconds, the 100-yard backstroke in 51.98 seconds and the 200-yard IM in 1:57.96.
 
De Leon grabbed a third place finish in the 50-yard breaststroke touching the wall in 27.71 seconds while he also posted a sixth place finish in the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:01.67. 
AJ Guevara placed fifth in the 1,000-yard freestyle in 11:34.29 while 
Thomas Breen clocked in at 1:54.18 in the 200-yard freestyle for a seventh place finish. In the 500-yard freestyle, Breen finished in fifth place with a time of 5:20.16. Wrapping up the meet, the 200-yard freestyle relay team placed fourth overall in 1:31.93. The team was made up of Breen, Swede, 
Alessandro Alvarez and 
Tyler Moore.
 
The Roadrunners return to action in 2024 when they host John Jay College on Saturday, January 20th for a dual meet scheduled for 12:00 PM.
