Jamaica, NY: The Ramapo College women's tennis team blanked York College (NY) today in non-conference action, 9-0. The Roadrunners remain undefeated at 2-0 overall while the Cardinals now stand at 0-6 overall.
At first doubles,
Melanie Brentnall and
Mackenzie Dates earned a shutout win, 8-0. Ramapo earned another shutout at third doubles as
Anna Bysiek and
Katie Obssuth also won by an 8-0 score. At second doubles,
Nicole Graham and
Kassie Britt took home an 8-1 win. Brentnall (first singles), Dates (second singles), Graham (third singles) and Britt (fourth singles) all won their matches with shutouts of 6-0, 6-0. Bysiek won her match at fifth singles (6-0, 6-1) while
Justine Gardella won 6-0, 6-2 at sixth singles.
Ramapo returns to action on Tuesday, October 10th when they travel to Purchase College for a non-conference match at 3:00 PM.
