Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College women's tennis team extended their win streak to five matches today with a 7-2 victory over Hunter College. The Roadrunners now stand at 5-0 overall while the Hawks move to 4-5 on the season.
Highlighting doubles play,
Melanie Brentnall and
Mackenzie Dates posted a shutout at first doubles, 8-0. Brentnall and Dates each won their matches in singles action with wins at first and second singles respectively. Brentnall won 6-1, 6-2 while Dates posted a 7-6, 6-2, 10-6 win.
Nicole Graham won 6-3 and 6-4 at third singles while
Katie Obssuth posted a 6-0, 6-2 win at sixth singles.
Ramapo returns to action on Saturday, October 28th when they travel to Albertus Magnus College for a non-conference match at 1pm.
