Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College women's tennis team dropped their season opener today in non-conference action against Hunter College, 5-4. The Hawks move to 2-0 overall.
Ramapo (0-1 overall) earned one win in doubles action as
Melanie Brentnall and
Nicole Graham posted an 8-4 victory at first doubles. Brentnall posted a 6-4, 6-2 win at first singles while
Kassie Britt earned a 6-1, 7-6 (10-8) win at third singles.
Madeline Zech wrapped up Ramapo's team points with a win at fifth singles, 6-7, 6-4 (11-9).
The Roadrunners return to action when they host Yeshiva University in non-conference action on Wednesday, September 21st at 6pm.
