Bethlehem, PA: The Ramapo College men's track and field team competed at the 2022 All-Atlantic Region Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Wednesday, May 18th and Thursday, May 19th. The Roadrunners finished in 7th place overall with 32 total points.

Steven Fiumefreddo was crowned All-Atlantic Region Champion on Friday night in the 10k race when he posted a time of 30:28.99 as he earned 10 points for the Roadrunners. In the 5k race,
Jason Mercado posted a personal best time of 15:16.98 for an 11th place finish. The 4x400-meter relay team made up of
Kenyon Fenderson,
Cheickna Traore,
Max Dubac and
Matt Cortez clocked in with a school record 3:13.82 as they finished 2nd overall.

On Thursday, Traore was crowned All-Atlantic Region Champion in the 400-meter race with a meet record and new school record time of 46.89 seconds. His time is also third across NCAA Division III this season. In the 110-meter hurdle finals,
Alec Mabie posted a time of 15.24 seconds for a fifth place finish. Dubac posted a time of 55.48 seconds in the 400-meter hurdles and finished 15th overall. The 4x800-meter relay team clocked in at 8:21.81 and finished in 15th place. The team was made up of Michale Mohr,
George Losche,
Ryan Scully and
Eduardo Cermeno. In the hammer throw,
Sebastian Pross recorded a personal best mark of 48.12-meters as he placed 17th overall.

The top 16 relays and the top 20 individuals qualify for the 2022 NCAA Outdoor Championships held in Spire Institute in Geneva, OH from May 26th through May 28th. The NCAA qualifiers will be announced tomorrow evening on NCAA.com.
