Chester, PA: The Ramapo College men's outdoor track and field team competed at the Widener Invitational today hosted by Widener University while the throwers of the team competed at the ESU All-American Meet hosted by East Stroudsburg University.

At Widener,
Chris Andersen placed 2nd overall and clocked in with a time of 1:51.72 while his time is top ten across NCAA DIII this season.
Matt Cortez finished 5th overall in the same event with a personal best time of 1:54.33. The 4x400-meter relay team grabbed a 2nd place finish when they posted a time of 3:16.54, which is top 8 across NCAA DIII this season. The team was made up of
Max Dubac,
Cheickna Traore, Andersen and Cortez.

In the 1,500-meter run,
Steven Fiumefreddo crossed the finish line in 12th place with a time of 3:59.57. Ben Straebler posted a time of 10:53.04 in the 3k steeplechase, which is 9th all-time at Ramapo and a personal best. In the 5k on Friday night, Fiumefreddo recorded a time of 15:12.28.
Jason Potterton placed 4th overall in the triple jump with a mark of 12.86-meters. The 4x100-meter relay team, made up of
Cheickna Traore, Kenyon Fendereson,
Terrell Lockett and
Dillon Karlson placed 5th overall when they clocked in at 43.10 seconds.

At the All-American Meet,
Sebastian Pross placed 5th overall in the hammer throw with a mark of 46.87-meters.
Thomas Dardis posted a mark of 32.04-meters in the discus as he placed 17th overall.

Fiumefreddo (10k) and the 4x400-meter relay team will compete at the historic Penn Relays next week. Fiumefreddo's race is on Thursday night at 10pm while the 4x400-meter relay team's race is on Friday night at 6:45pm. The full team will return to action on Friday April 29th when they travel to the TCNJ Invitational.
