Queens, NY: The Pratt Institute women's tennis team earned a 5-4 win over Ramapo College tonight in non-conference action. The Cannoneers move to 12-4 overall while the Roadrunners now stand at 3-6 on the year.
Melanie Colon-Leon and
Mackenzie Dates posted an 8-5 win at third doubles for the Roadrunners. In singles action,
Melanie Brentnall won at second singles, 6-1 and 6-1 while
Marina Kaiafas earned a hard fought 6-4, 2-6, 11-9 win at third singles. Dates posted a 6-4, 6-2 win at sixth singles to wrap up team points in the match.
Ramapo returns to action tomorrow afternoon as they host Purchase College at 4:30pm at the Athletic Center.
