Cheickna Traore of the Ramapo College men's track and field team set two new school records today at the Larry Ellis Invitational hosted by Princeton University.
Traore broke his own school record in the 200-meter dash when he posted a time of 21.31 seconds. He finished 5th in a field of all NCAA DI athletes while his time is 4th in NCAA DIII this season. Ackeme Brown's record that was set in 2012. His time is currently 5th in NCAA DIII this season.
Chris Andersen won his heat and finished 6th overall in the 800-meter run when he crossed the finish line in 1:53.90. His time is 4th all-time at Ramapo.
Max Dubac finished 4th in his heat and 16th overall in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 56.30 seconds. Both Roadrunners were the only NCAA DIII runners in their races.
Ramapo returns to action on Friday April 22nd and Saturday April 23rd when they travel to the Widener Invitational.
