Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College men's ice hockey team are headed to the 2022 Federation Cup this weekend. The six-day tournament begins on Friday evening for Ramapo and if they advance, the finals will be held on Wednesday.
Ramapo has been seeded 6th overall and are the highest seed in Pool F; where they join #11 Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, #22 Hofstra University and #27 Massachusetts Maritime Academy.
The Roadrunners open pool play on Friday, March 18th when they take on Mass. Maritime Academy at 9:15pm. On Saturday they play Hofstra at 6:15pm and wrap up pool play against Embry-Riddle on Sunday at 4pm. In pool play you earn two points for a win and one point for a tie. Following all pool play games, the team with the most points advances to one of four quarterfinal games on Monday that will be played at 11am, 11:15am, 2:30pm and 2:45pm. The winners of those games move onto the semifinals on Tuesday (11am and 2pm) while the Bronze Medal game (10am) and the Gold Medal (1:30pm) game are scheduled for Wednesday. The Roadrunners are the home team in all three pool play games as they are the higher seed.
