Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College men's ice hockey team have been ranked #3 in the East Region and #6 country by the Collegiate Hockey Federation. The CHF stretches from the New England Conference to the South Eastern Conference with a total of 98 teams nationally. The Roadrunners boast a 13-1-1-1 (12-1-1 in the Empire Conference) overall record and they finished 2nd in the Empire conference standings.
Ramapo have been ranked as high as #4 in the nation while they held their #1 rank in the East region from the previous week. The Roadrunners honored their senior class on Saturday, Feb. 19th as they defeated Southern Connecticut State University, 11-0 to wrap up the regular season. The team earned a bye into the semifinal round of the playoffs and will play the winner of the Quinnipiac and Fordham game. The conference playoffs will take place in Shelton, CT at the Rinks. The semifinals will take place on Saturday, Feb. 26th at 9pm and the championship game will be the following day at 2:30pm. The team will wait to see where they will play when the tournament field is announced following all conference tournament games across the region this weekend.
