Purchase, NY: The Ramapo College women's tennis team posted a 9-0 shutout win today over Manhattanville College today in non-conference action. The Roadrunners move to 3-2 overall while the Valiants drop to 0-9 on the season.
The doubles flights were highlighted by
Mackenzie Dates and
Kassie Britt with their 8-0 shutout win at second doubles.
Melanie Brentnall and
Nicole Graham posted an 8-2 win at first doubles while Madeline Zach and
Tahlia Crescenzo also won, 8-2, at third doubles.
Crescenzo went three sets at sixth singles as she posted, 6-0, 4-6, 10-5 victory. Brentnall won at first singles, 6-4, 6-2 while Dates posted a 7-5, 6-1 win at second singles. At third singles, Britt collected a 6-0, 6-3 win while at fourth singles Graham won 6-1 and 6-0. Zech wrapped up the Roadrunners points in singles action with a 6-4, 6-4 win at fifth singles.
The Roadrunners return to action on November 2nd when they travel to Saint Elizabeth University for the final match of the 2022 fall season at 2pm.
