Mahwah, NJ:  The Cougars of Kean University defeated the Ramapo College women's tennis team, 5-4 today in the quarter-final round of the NJAC Championship Tournament.  With the loss the Roadrunners wrap up the season at 3-4 overall.  
 
Ramapo took first doubles as Marina Kaifas and Malanie Brentnall defeated the Cougar pair, 8-1. Brentnall earned a point at second singles, 6-0, 6-1 and Nicole Graham tool third singles 6-7, 6-2, 7-5.  Alisa Vibulbhan took the final point for the Roadrunners at fourth singles 6-3, 6-2.
 
Kean improves to 3-4 overall on the year and advances to the semi-final round of the tournament facing off with #1 seeded TCNJ.
