Mahwah, NJ: Ramapo Athletics committed to following the guidance of the NJAC and NCAA in preparing to return for a fall season. Today, the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Presidents Council, in consultation with the NJAC Board of Athletic Administrators, made the difficult decision to suspend all fall sport contests and league championships during the upcoming 2020 fall semester.
With the rise in COVID-19 cases across the country, and the financial impact of competing safely, the tough decision was made for the health and safety of our student-athletes and staff. The decision was not an easy one, as the Athletic Directors and administrators met weekly to explore every option possible. Our student-athletes remain our top priority and we hope to get everyone back on the field safely in the near future.
