New York, NY: The Ramapo College men's volleyball team evened their overall record at 4-4 with a non-conference road win over John Jay College tonight 3-0 (25-18, 25-8, 25-14). The Bloodhounds now stand at 0-7 on the year.
Ramapo was led by
Conor Charlow who recorded nine kills on 14 attempts and just two errors to hit .500 in the match. He also led the team with six total blocks including a team high three solo blocks.
Eric Van Thuyne hit .583 in the match with eight kills on 12 attempts and just one error while he added five digs and two aces. Stephen Cosdispodo tallied six kills, two blocks, two assists, three digs and one ace while
Josh Titus led the team with 11 assists. Titus added two aces and three assisted blocks.
Tyler Plitt contributed on defense with five digs while he added three assists. The team hit .340 in the match with 28 total kills while they posted ten assisted blocks in the match.
John Jay tallied 11 total kills in the match as Colton Kelly recorded a team high three kills. Dylan Senkiw posted a team high five assists while Jack Nugent recorded one solo block and one assisted block. Krystian Surdel contributed with three digs on defense to lead the team.
The Roadrunners return to action tomorrow night at the Bradley Center when they host Misericordia University at 7pm.
