Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College women's tennis team earned a 7-2 win over Kean University today in NJAC action. The Roadrunners improve to 3-2 overall and 1-2 in the conference while the Cougars now stand at 5-3 overall and 0-3 in the NJAC.
Ramapo won all three doubles matches to earn three points heading into singles action. The Roadrunners won their first four matches during singles play.
Marine Uyttenhove won at first singles 6-0, 6-3 while
Tamila Akhunova posted a 6-2, 6-4 win at second singles.
Marina Kaiafas (6-2, 6-2) and
Francesca Chicherchia (6-1, 6-4) earned wins at third and fourth singles respectively.
Ramapo returns to action on Thursday, September 26th at 4pm when they travel to William Paterson University in a NJAC match-up.
