Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College women's tennis team defeated Lehman College today in non-conference action 6-3. The Roadrunners improve to 2-1 overall while the Lightning now stand at 4-2 on the year.
 
Marine Uyttenhove and Francesca Chicherchia posted an 8-6 win at first doubles while Tamila Akhunova and Marina Kaiafas won at second doubles 8-2. Megha Mehta and Elizabeth Gamba posted an 8-7 win at third doubles to give the Roadrunners three team points. Akhunova won in straight sets, 6-0, 6-0 at third singles while Mehta recorded a 6-3, 6-0 win at fifth singles to highlight Ramapo during singles play.
 
Ramapo returns to action on Saturday, September 21st when they travel to Rutgers-Camden University in NJAC action at 1pm.
