Cyrus Dastparvardeh were named to the 2019 NJAC Men's Tennis All-Conference Team and head coach
Raza Baig was named NJAC Co-Coach of the Year, announced today by the league office. All selections were made by a vote of the league's four head coaches and were based on conference-only match results.
The Roadrunners finished as the NJAC runner-up with a 2-1 conference record while they wrapped up the season at 10-6 overall. The duo of Abelev and Dastparvardeh earned NJAC Doubles All-Conference. They teamed up to record a 6-4 record overall including 5-2 at first doubles while they secured their sixth win at second doubles. In NJAC-only play they posted a 2-0 win/loss record together in two matches played.
Coach Baig earns NJAC Co-Coach of the Year honors with TCNJ Head Coach Scott Dicheck. Baig guided Ramapo to a 10-6 overall record and a runner-up finish in the NJAC with a 2-1 mark in league play. In nine seasons at the helm of the Ramapo men's program, Baig has guided the Roadrunners to an overall record of 101-42.
