Madison, NJ: The Ramapo College men's tennis team competed at the Ranger Invitational this weekend hosted by Drew University where Chris Yip and Justin Rinaldi shined.
Yip and Rinaldi first posted a 7-5 win over the Roger Williams pair in the 5th flight before taking down a duo from Wilkes, 7-6 (4) on day one.
In their final match of the day they defeated another set from Wilkes, this time 6-4.
When the Roadrunners returned to action today, Bryce Blumenthal and Joshua Halperin posted a tough 0-6 loss in the quarter finals while Kevin Illinets and Cyrus Dastpahrvadah also lost in the quarter final round to the Drew pair, 1-6. Yip and Rinaldi lost in the same round, 1-6 while Seth Frey and Matt Borenkoff posted a 2-6 loss as well.
The Roadrunners return to action when they head to Hilton Head, South Carolina in mid-March.
