Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College men's swim team moved to 2-0 on the year with a 145.5-115.5 win over non-conference rival Drew University this afternoon. The Rangers suffer their first loss of the year and now stand at 2-1 overall.
The 200-yard medley relay team won the race with a time of 1:38.92. The team was made up of
Tomer Bachar,
Emile Eeckhout,
Josh Templeton and
Matt Liedtka.
Spencer Hughes posted a winning time of 10:24.51 in the 1,000-yard freestyle while Templeton won the 200-yard freestyle in 1:47.85.
In the 100-yard breaststroke, the Roadrunners grabbed the top three spots as Eeckhout (59.74),
Sean Flannery (1:02.36) and
Sam Cossaboon (1:02.66) finished 1-2-3. Templeton won the 50-yard freestyle in 22.40 while he also won the 100-yard freestyle in 49.19. Cossaboon, Flannery and
Noah Callahan went 1-2-3 in the 200-yard breaststroke with times of 2:17.20, 2:19.34 and 2:23.78 respectively. Eeckhout finished tied for first-place in the 200-yard IM with a time of 2:00.22 with Ranger swimmer Michael Ma. To wrap up the meet, Ramapo won the 400-yard freestyle relay with a time of 3:22.55. The team was made up of

Benjamin Kern and
Dan Adjedj.
The Roadrunners return to action when they travel to NJAC rival the College of New Jersey on Saturday, November 2nd for a meet at 1pm.
